Enter to win a pair of tickets to this year's Bowl Game! Utah (8-4, 5-3 MWC) will play Navy (8-4) in the third-annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on Thu., Dec. 20. The game kicks off the 2007-08 bowl season and will be televised nationally on ESPN. Game time is 6 p.m. PST (7 p.m. MST) in Qualcomm Stadium. Utah is playing in its fifth-straight bowl game and the third under head coach Kyle Whittingham. Whittingham is 2-0 in bowl games, with wins over Georgia Tech in 2005 and Tulsa in 2006. Utah ranks No. 2 in the nation in pass efficiency defense (94.5), No. 3 in scoring defense (15.5) and No. 15 in pass defense (189.4). In addition, the Utes rank No. 7 nationally in opponent third down conversion percentage (28.8%) and are tied 14th in sacks (36). The Utes led the MWC in all of those categories.
