SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Jazz have started trimming their roster with two players getting waived that were training camp invites.

Trey Gilder and Brian Butch were the players that were waived to trim down the roster from 19 to 17 as the preseason wraps up.

Gilder was with the Jazz through the lack of a training camp last season and played in two games this preseason. Butch also played in two games in the preseason.

The remaining players that are training camp invites are point guard Chris Quinn and forward Darnell Jackson. While Raja Bell remains on the roster, two players will need to be cut in order to get down to 15 players on the roster.
