OREM, Utah (AP) -- Jeremiah Dominguez had 19 points to lead Portland State to a 60-53 overtime win over Utah Valley State on Saturday night.
The Vikings (5-3) started the overtime period with a 6-0 run to help themselves to the victory.
Portland State tied the game with 17.4 seconds left when Andre Murray made a 3-pointer to even the score at 47.
The Wolverines (3-4) had a chance to win in regulation, but Joe Walker missed a two-footer with one second left.
Scott Morrison earned a double-double for Portland State with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Utah Valley State was held scoreless for the first seven minutes of the game, but Portland State scored only three points during that span.
Both teams continued to struggle to score in the first half as Utah Valley State held a 22-19 lead at halftime.
Ryan Toolson led the Wolverines with a game-high 22 points.
