This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Panache is designed to be a clothing boutique where anyone would be happy to shop, including mothers and daughters. They carry over 100 clothing brands between both stores including Diane Von Furstenberg, Elizabeth and James, Brunello Cucinelli (coo-chin-nell-ee) and Add Down, just to name a few. She also has items at many price points to appeal to a wide variety of customers.

This year Kathy decided to expand into shoes. You can now come here to find Italian-made Aquatalia (ahh-qwa-towel-ee-uh) boots that are completely waterproof. For fall, one of her top sellers is always cashmere sweaters and shawls.

Operating in the beautiful Sun Valley for the last 30 years has taught Kathy a lot about successfully running a resort-town business and helped prepare her for the Park City operation. After visiting Park City a few years ago, she realized nobody was offering quite the same selection as what Panache has. So, she got to work, did her market research and found a space available on lower Main Street. Panache Park City opened last August.

She already enjoys being a part of the growing Park City business community, home to some of the nation's top ski resorts. While summer is the busiest season in Sun Valley, she anticipates winter will be busiest in Park City, especially with major events like Sundance coming up.

Panache is a great example of why the Pollina Report named Utah as the No. 2 best pro-business state for the last two years running and why we're 4th for economic growth potential. She's also helping grow the job base in both Idaho and Utah with her eight employees.

An important focus for Kathy is to get involved with the community and to give back as much as she can. She's already working on this with Panache Park City.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
