OGDEN, Utah -- Shaun Greene scored 18 points, all 3-pointers, as the University of Utah defeated Weber State 72-52 Wednesday night.

Trailing 16-4 less than eight minutes into the game, the Utes (3-2) went on a 20-2 run, including nine points from Greene, to take a 24-18 with 1:02 remaining in the first half. Utah's defense held the Wildcats without a field goal for more than 12 minutes and led 27-21 by halftime.

After the break, Nevill, who had just two points in the first half, took over by scoring the first six points in the second half. Utah led 54-33 with 9:57 remaining in the game after a technical foul on Weber State head coach Randy Rahe that resulted a pair of free throws by Bryant.
