The uniforms for Utah were the only positive thing worth noting against Arizona State when Utah traveled to Tempe, Arizona to take on the Sun Devils Saturday. ASU beat the Utes 37-7.
@JFurKSL: #Utes have two black helmet combos: red & white. Tonight the Utes will be wearing the white.

Then the game began, and it began quickly for Arizona State:

And again...
@utahathletics: ASU scores again on its second drive. 2-2 in TD drives. Leads Utah 14-0. #utes
And again...
@utahathletics: Utes already trail ASU 21-0 after three straight scores in the 1st quarter. Bad start in Tempe for sure! #utes

Not so quick @CErickson85. The Utes still had a lot of time to work with and started to run down the field, literally.

Utah started to get momentum back in the second quarter after falling 21-0. The Utes even managed to score TD.

However, ASU answered quickly driving the ball down the field, including a 52-yard pass by Sun Devil quarterback, Trevor Kelly.
@utahathletics: Utes hold ASU to FG that time down. Sun Devils lead Utes 24-7 w/10:19 left in half. #utes
But Utah couldn't capitalize because they just couldn't get a rhythm going. John White, after missing last week's win over BYU, had 10 carries for 14 yards in the first half.

The Utes lost the game 37-7 and now look forward to a bye week next week.

The Utes will face USC on October 4th at home and will try to save their season.
