Actress IDINA MENZEL will reprise her Tony-Award winning performance as ELPHABA in the London production of WICKED in September (06).
Menzel has developed a cult-like following among fans from her stint in the original cast of the show, which follows the battle between the witches in THE WIZARD OF OZ.
Wicked became the top-grossing show on Broadway, New York City, soon after it opened in October 2003 and has remained number one ever since.
Menzel appeared opposite KRISTIN CHENOWETH, who played GLINDA THE GOOD WITCH.
The West End production of Wicked begins preview performances on 7 September (06) and will officially open 27 September (06). (SS/DV/ES)
