In a sign of brick-and-mortar retailers' mounting frustration with Amazon, Walmart informed store managers Wednesday that it no longer plans to carry Amazon's Kindle e-readers or tablets in stores.
In an internal memo obtained by Reuters, Walmart wrote, "We have recently made the business decision to not carry Amazon tablets and e-readers beyond our existing inventory and purchase commitments...Includ[ing] all Amazon Kindle models current and recently announced."
