It's a Doggy Dogg world - you just get to read about it.
Snoop Dogg is hard at work penning a novel - the fictional tale of a young man's rise from the crime-ridden ghettos of Southern California to the dizzying heights of rap superstardom.
Dubbed "Love Don't Live Here No More," and due out in October, it's the first in a series of books Snoop intends to write.
"It's about a young man with a talent for music and hip-hop but who has to survive the worst neighborhoods," said Kathleen Schmidt, a spokeswoman for the publisher.
