SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Nick Gorneault went 3-for-4 with one home run and three R-B-Is to lead the Salt Lake Bees to a 4-to-2 victory over the visiting Tucson Sidewinders last night.
Salt Lake starter Dustin Moseley got the win, scattering three hits and two runs over six innings while striking out six and walking one. Alberto Callaspo went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs batted in for the Sidewinders.
Second Baseman Howie Kendrick saw his 11 game hitting streak come to an end, although he did score a run. Kendry Morales also saw his hitting streak end as well.
The teams play at Salt Lake again tonight.
