From BYU Football Media Relations Director Jeff Reynolds:
I received a voice mail from Mike Staffieri shortly before noon (PT).
To quote Mike, "We are standing in the middle of a miracle." The Staffieri home suffered very minor exterior damage and there is a lot of soot and ashes to clean up, but other than that, the house was not harmed. Mike indicated there were homes on all sides, within 75 to 100 yards that had been burned to the ground; however, his home, along with those on his street were undamaged. They have been allowed to return to their homes and begin the process of cleaning up, as well as helping others.
Mike wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
