Doug's thoughts: Despite his disagreements with Al politically, Doug believes this is a great honor. He does think Al has done a lot of good. However, he could be more effective if he wasnt so hysterical. He wonders, will Gore run now? Doug hears that he would love to the next president. He certainly has the support and would have no trouble putting together the funds and staff. Gore is afraid that Clinton is unstoppable.
