At practice today, Austin Collie was pretty much a full go, even fielding some kicks--and like I've been saying, you'll know Austin is close to full speed once he's returning kicks in games again. Everyone on BYU's current two-deep is good-to-go and expected to play Saturday--that includes Manase Tonga, who was held out again today with an MCL sprain, but will practice tomorrow and play at UNLV.

Players who either missed the New Mexico game or were injured in that game (Criddle, Mahuika) have also been cleared.

A kind reader made me aware of a mistake I made in the "Hump Day Stuff" entry. In noting Bronco's coaching record and his standing compared to other coaches hired at the same time he was, I have corrected the entry to show his rookie year as 2005, instead of 2003 (I had "3rd year" on the brain--hence the 3). And I added the words "first-time," to note that he is being compared to head coaches who got their first FBS head coaching jobs that year, as opposed to coaches like Urban Meyer, who were already head coaches at other schools.
