MWC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK (OCT. 8, 2007)Offensive Player of the Week
CHAD HALL, AIR FORCE
Senior, WR, Atlanta, Ga./Wesleyan
Chad Hall rushed for a career-high 169 yards on 18 carries (9.4 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in the 31-14 victory over UNLV. He also had a team-high four catches for 44 yards. Hall's 169 yards on the ground are the most by a non-quarterback at the Academy since 1991. He had a career-long run of 52 yards on the opening drive of the third quarter that put the Falcons up 14-7. On Air Force's final drive of the game, Hall had seven carries on the 10-play drive, including a touchdown run of eight yards with 1:40 remaining.

Defensive Player of the Week
MITCH UNREIN, WYOMING
Sophomore, Defensive End, Eaton, Colo./Eaton
Mitch Unrein recorded a career-high seven tackles (three solo), including one sack for nine yards and two tackles for losses of 12 yards. He also forced one fumble as the Wyoming defense held TCU to only 134 yards rushing in the 24-21 win.

Special Teams Player of the Week
LOUIE SAKODA
Senior, Place Kicker, San Jose, Calif./Branham
Louie Sakoda connected on 5-of-6 extra-point attempts and connected on a 46-yard field goal with 1:13 remaining to secure the 44-35 victory at Louisville. He also averaged 42.4 yards on five punts, having one downed inside the 20.
