WEST VALLEY CITY — Britt Harding scored 14 points and pulled down 9 rebounds leading the Bountiful Braves to a 50- 32 win over Timpview in the first round of the 4A state basketball tournament.

The Braves never trailed and lead by as much as 17. They shot 50 percent from the field while holding Timpview to just 31 percent.

Rickey Shumway led Timpview in scoring with 12 points. Bountiful will play Herriman in Wednesday's quarterfinals.
