Marion Jones admitted to taking steroids on Friday. She now has to forfeit her five Olympic medals. She is the latest in a growing list of athletes to take performance enhancing drugs (and get caught). Her tearful apology was clearly sincere. But should steroids be illegal? Should adults be able to make their own decision on whether or not to use performance enhancing drugs? Is there too much pressure on athletes today starting at a young age? Doug believes in a perfect world there would be no need for these druge. However, when the difference between good and legendary is so marginal, it is understandable that an athlete would want that edge.
