OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Scott Bamforth scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half to lead Weber State to a 72-70 victory over Texas-Arlington on Saturday, snapping the Mavericks' school record 16-game winning streak.
In a BracketBusters game, Jordan Reves scored with four seconds remaining to get Texas-Arlington within two points, and LaMarcus Reed stole the ensuing inbounds pass near midcourt. Reed slipped before heaving a 40-foot desperation shot that missed as the buzzer sounded.

Damon Lillard had 17 points and Byron Fulton 11 for Weber State (22-4).
Reves led the Mavericks (20-6) with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Bo Ingram added 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Reed finished with 16 points.
Bamforth made four 3-pointers early in the second half to spark a 16-4 run that gave the Wildcats the lead. Weber State was up 60-44 before Texas-Arlington got back in the game with an 11-0 run.
