NFL Allowing Players To Tweet During Pro-Bowl

OAHU (CBSDFW.COM) The NFL has always enforced a strict social media policy which prevents players from engaging via Twitter, also known as tweeting, less than 90 minutes before kickoff until the conclusion of post-game interviews. But for this weekends Pro-Bowl in Hawaii, the NFL has had a change of heart and will allow in-game tweeting during this Sundays all-star game.
Pro Bowl players will not be able to tweet from personal devices on sidelines. Will be computer station on each sideline, tweeted Darren Rovell, CNBC. The Pro Bowl twitter stations where players can in-game tweet will not be sponsored.
Brian McCarthy, the NFLs director ofcorporatecommunications confirmed the tweet.
NFL officials say the Pro Bowl experiment is not being considered for the regular season or playoffs.
The players will be tweeting with the hashtag #ProBowl.
