This book is Wayne Dyer's personal interpretation of the Tao Te Ching, a book of ancient wisdom written 25 centuries ago and translated more than any book in history other than the Bible. The book is arranged in 81 chapters, each one beginning with the language from the Tao Te Ching, and then including Wayne Dyer's thoughts and meditations on each verse.

While this is a book which would lend itself nicely to being read in small bits, one or two verses in a day with plenty of time for contemplation and meditation on each theme, I found myself feeling good from the reading and would continue on for many verses at a time.

All of the thoughts you would expect are here - live simply, live honestly, give up the need to control others, strive less and achieve more - and also many thoughts you might not expect - practice knowing when to stop; you gain by losing and lose by gaining; the fish in the water that is thirsty needs serious professional counseling.

I know there is something about Wayne Dyer that probably makes some of you roll your eyes. Even you may be surprised by what is here and how humbly it is offered. I recommend Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Dr. Wayne Dyer.
