The Mtn.'s Friday Night Pep Rally Comes to Rice-Eccles Stadium

SALT LAKE CITY -- Former Utah and Atlanta Falcons' star running back Jamal Anderson will be the featured guest at a pep rally hosted by The Mtn. at Rice-Eccles Stadium, Friday, Sept. 28, starting at 7:30 p.m. outside Gates E and F. The event is free to the public and parking is available in the west stadium lot.

In addition to Anderson, current Utes Brian Johnson and Steve Tate will make an appearance, as will first-year Utah men's basketball coach Jim Boylen, the Utah cheerleaders and mascot Swoop. The Mtn.'s broadcast team of Rich Cellini and Jon Berger will be on hand to host interviews. The event will also feature a 30-minute live football preview show at 8:00 p.m., and contests for the fans in attendance.

People who submit their favorite fan photos to photos@themtn.tv may have their photo aired on the Mtn. during the pep rally.

"Friday Night Pep Rally" is a series on The Mtn., which broadcasts onsite the night before key match-ups involving a Mountain West Conference team. The Utes host Utah State in Homecoming on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised live on The Mtn.
