Four Jazz players make All-Star voting list

SALT LAKE CITY - The NBA announced it's 2012 All-Star ballot and it included four players on the Utah Jazz.

Guard Devin Harris, forwards Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors and center Al Jefferson will be on the ballot for fans to vote for the game on Feb. 26, 2012.

Harris was an All-star in 2009 when he was playing for the Nets. That season he averaged 16.9 points per game to go along with 6.6 assists per game. The year before he had 21.3 points per game and 6.9 assists. This year he is putting up just over 10 points and 4.2 assists per game.

Millsap has a reputation around the league as a rebounder and he is putting up career numbers so far this year. His 9.2 boards a game are tied for 12 in the league. His defensive number are up as well, his two steals per game are tied for sixth in the league. Last year he put up a career-high 17.3 points per game.

Favors is coming off a game with a career-high five blocks and is now averaging 1.3 blocks per game. He started the first three games this sesason and is averaging 8.7 points per game and has 7.7 rebounds per game.

Jefferson is putting up 18.4 points per game in his second season with the Jazz. He is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game and leads the Jazz with 1.6 blocks per game. Last season with the Jazz he had 18.6 points per game and 9.7 rebounds.

There are multiple ways that fans can vote. They are able to vote directly for these players on NBA.com. They can also text in their vote by using the player's last name and texting 69622 ("MYNBA") through any wireless carrier.

The ballots will close on Jan. 31 and fans can place write-in votes for any player that is not on the list.
