SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - C.J. Miles scored 18 points, Raja Bell had 15 and Gordon Hayward 10 in the Utah Jazz's 20- minute scrimmage Sarturday night in front of more than 10,000 fans.
Miles was 7 of 9 shots from the field and 3 of 5 from 3- point range. Bell was 5 of 6 shooting and 2 of 2 from behind the arc, and Hayward was 4 of 8 and made his only 3-point attempt.
The Jazz's preseason opener is Monday night at Portland.
"I think we shot real well, made some plays for our teammates, and once you hit those first few shots things seem to open up for you," Hayward said.
Though glad to see the Jazz shoot well, a combined 50 percent from the floor for both squads, coach Tyrone Corbin wasn't as pleased with the defensive effort.
"We've got to do a better job of getting our bodies on guys and getting to the rights spots on the pick and roll," Corbin said.
Rookie shooting guard Alec Burke out of Colorado added five points on 2-of-4 shooting. Power forward Jeremy Evans led all Jazz big men with 10 points.
Rookie center Enes Kanter, the No. 3 draft pick, scored six points on 2-of-6 shooting, and had two rebounds.
Veteran center Mehmet Okur, seeing his first action since early last season, went scoreless in 18 minutes, missing all three of his shots. He did, however, have a scrimmage- high five rebounds.
Big men Al Jefferson (sore left hamstring) and Paul Millsap (sore right quad) did not play. Recent free-agent signee Josh Howard was in uniform, but also did not play.
