SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Jazz unveiled a third alternate jersey for the 2011- 2012 season. Jazz president Randy Rigby unveiled the green jersey Friday afternoon.
The event coincides with the opening day of Jazz practice and media day. The day also marks the opening for season, single game and packaged ticket sales.
Rigby thanked Jazz fans that showed up in large numbers. He made it clear that he was thankful to have fan support after going through the lockout.
Devin Harris' name was selected as the display name for the new jersey. The Jazz Bear was also in attendance and wore the new uniform. Fans who were present were given the opportunity to take a photo in the new jersey along the side of the Jazz Bear.
Fans who came to the event were rewarded with a free NBA t-shirt and a complementary hot dog and drink.
