ROME, Ga., Mar 16, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Police in Rome, Ga., said a former resident gave herself two abortions and stored the fetuses at a storage facility rented in the name of her late husband.

Sarah Jo Warner Izard is receiving psychiatric care at Life Management Center in Panama City.

The couple moved from Rome to Rosemary Beach, Fla., shortly after the Jim Izard resigned as Berry College women's basketball coach in January 2005. The Rome News-Tribune reports Jim Izard killed himself on Feb. 28.

A person who Sarah Jo allegedly told about the fetuses contacted Bay County, Fla., Sheriff's Department, which passed the information to police in Rome.

Rome police issued a statement saying Sarah Jo Izard might be charged following a meeting with the Floyd County District Attorney.
