(KSL News) -- Federal officials announed an investigation of some Chrysler minivans.
They're looking into claims of air bag failures in Dodge Caravans, Grand Caravans and Town and Country minivans. Apparently 2005 and 2006 models could have corrosion in the front air bag sensors.
That corrosion could cause the air bag to inflate improperly, or not at all during a crash.
No safety recall has been issued, but the government's investigation often leads to one.
