PROVO, Utah (August 31, 2007) -- The BYU ticket office has announced Saturday's season-opening game against Arizona is sold out. The game will mark the first season-opening sellout in Edwards Stadium since the 2004 season when BYU defeated Notre Dame. Saturday's sellout also mark the 11th opening-day sellout, dating back to 1982 -- the first year of the newly expanded stadium.

Dating back to 1922—the first official season of football at BYU—the Cougars have posted a record of 28-11-1 (.713) when opening the season in Provo.
