SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Boise State and Utah will play this fall in the first of four games the schools have agreed to play.
The Utes will host the Broncos in Salt Lake City on Sept. 30. The home-and-home series will resume in Boise in 2011 and continue in 2012 and 2013.
"Given where our programs are competitively, as well as geographically, this will be a great game for our fans," Utah athletic director Chris Hill said.
Both teams have attracted national attention in recent years, especially in 2004 when both went unbeaten in the regular season.
Boise State has won three of the five meetings with Utah, including the last two in 1998 and 1999.
