POCATELLO, Idaho (AP)-- Guard David Schroeder scored a season-high 27 points and center Kasey Winters added 20 points and 11 rebounds as Idaho State beat Weber State 81-74 Saturday.

The win kept ISU's hopes of qualifying for the Big Sky post-season tournament alive.

Idaho State (13-13, 4-9 Big Sky) opened the game with consecutive 3-pointers by Schroeder and Akbar Abdul-Ahad for a 6-0 lead.

Weber State (10-17, 4-10 Big Sky) made only three of its first 17 shots as ISU opened up a lead as large as 11 points midway through the half.

Weber State guard Terrell Stovall single-handedly led the Wildcats back into the game, scoring 15 straight WSU points during a 17-3 run to give Weber State a 39-30 halftime lead.

Idaho State chipped away in the second half, finally regaining the lead at 57-55 on two Tim Henry free throws with 12:41 left.

The game was back and forth until two more free throws by Henry gave ISU a six-point cushion with 1:58 to play.

Henry finished with 18 points for Idaho State. Stovall had a career-high 27 points for Weber State, while Coric Riggs added 17 points and David Patten came off the bench to add 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds.
