BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Utah State's Jaycee Carroll scored 18 points and Nate Harris added 16 tonight as the Aggies defeated Boise State, 64-to-62, in a Western Athletic Conference game in Boise.
The Aggies survived a 13-to-nothing Boise State run in the final five minutes.
David Pak had put Utah State (19-6, 9-4 WAC) ahead 64-to-49 with a field goal with 5:02 left in the game when the Broncos went on the run, which ended when Boise State's Coby Karl hit a field goal with 48 seconds left.
The Broncos (13-13, 5-9 WAC) got one more chance when Harris turned the ball over with 22 seconds left. But a field goal attempt by Karl at the buzzer bounced off the front rim.
Karl ended with a game-high 19 points, including 11 down the homestretch. Kurt Cunningham came off the Boise State bench to add 10 points.
