BYU's buddying up with Utah State on the football field, extending a vital series that began way back in 1922. The Cougars and Aggies will now play every season up through 2015.
The Cougars and Aggies were already scheduled to play each other on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in Provo and the new deal extends the series to include Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium in Logan along with Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 and Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, both at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo.
The 2015 meeting will be the 85th meeting of this spirited rivalry.
Utah State will also resume its series with Utah in 2012 after a two-year hiatus as the two schools will conclude its current four-year home-and-home series playing in Logan on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 and Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, along with games in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 and Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.

ESPN is reporting the 32 NFL team player reps did not vote to ratify a new collective bargaining agreement today but are feeling good enough about the direction of this deal that they've given Union Head DeMaurice Smith the ‘thumbs up' to work out the details...lockout could be unlocked in the next day or so.

Tiger Woods is making a major change to his team, reportedly firing caddie Steve Williams. On his website, Tiger thanked Steve but said it was just time for a change.
Williams says he's stunned. They combined to win 79 events worldwide including 13 majors in 12 years.
