GAINESVILLE, Ga., Feb 13, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- The 37-year-old Georgia woman who married a 15-year-old boy has given birth to his son.
Lisa Clark had been scheduled to appear in court Monday to answer charges of child molestation, statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes. But a judge in Hall County postponed the arraignment, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Skye Cobain Gonzales was born Saturday night. A friend of Clark, Amy Engler, told the newspaper that the baby is healthy. The delivery took place in a hospital in Gainesville after Clark was transported there from the Hall County detention center.
Clark was arrested last week on charges that she helped her husband run away from a group home. She allegedly arranged for his transportation to a bus station, found him a place to stay in Ohio and sent him a prepaid cell phone.
