(KSL News) -- Using chocolate to treat a medical condition sounds too good to be true, but researchers at the National Institutes of Health are testing a special formula of chocolate to see if it might be an alternative to traditional medicine.
The cocoa is jam packed with compounds that are good for your heart. Scientists just mix it with water. Study participants say it tastes like hot chocolate.
So far, the concoction seems to improve blood pressure and insulin levels.
