RUSTON, La. (AP) -- Jaycee Carroll scored 19 points and Utah State held off a late Louisiana Tech rally for a 63-to-62 win today.
The Aggies led 38-to-25 at halftime, but the Bulldogs fought back in the second to take a 54-to-53 lead with 6:21 remaining.
Utah State took the lead back with a jumper from Chaz Spicer and did not trail again. The Aggies were able to run out the clock after the Bulldogs got within a point.
Paul Millsap led Louisiana Tech with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Utah State is 16-and-5 overall and 7-and-3 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Tech is 14-and-9 and 7-and-3.
