LONDON, Jan 31, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Andrew Lloyd-Webber is staging a revival of "Evita" in London's West End, it was announced Tuesday.
Argentina's Elena Roger will sing the role of Eva Perone, which was originated in London 28 years ago by Elaine Page and played later on film by Madonna.
The new production is scheduled to open in London's Adelphi Theatre in June.
Lloyd-Webber said he will "relook at the orchestration" for the revival.
His West End production of "Woman in White" is set to close in February.
