OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Weber State's Nedim Pajevic had career-highs of 17 points and seven rebounds and the Wildcats snapped a seven-game losing streak by beating Idaho State 66-61 Saturday.
Weber State (7-13 overall, 1-6) won for the first time since Dec. 28 and got its first Big Sky Conference win of the season. Clint Burris scored 14 points, Coric Riggs scored all of his 13 points in the second half, and Terrell Stovall added 10 points and six rebounds for the Wildcats.
Idaho State (9-10, 1-6) was led in scoring by David Schroeder with 18. Tim Henry had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Bengals.
Idaho State went up 55-54 on two 3-pointers by Schroeder, but Riggs tapped in a miss with one minute to play, putting the Wildcats back on top, 59-57. The Wildcats converted seven of eight free throws in the final minute to seal the win.
Idaho State opened the game with a 12-2 run and Weber State missed 14 of its first 17 shots.
The Bengals led 26-22 at halftime, but Weber State rallied in the second half. Burris scored the Wildcats' first seven points of the half and a dunk by Riggs and a putback by Pajevic gave Weber State a 47-40 lead with 9:18 remaining.
