SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake Magazine will hold its first "Tastemaker's Salt Lake" food and wine event Thursday.
It's billed as a two-day strolling food event, featuring restaurants from across the state. Patrons will be able to sample tastes from participating restaurants in the Tastemakers Pavilion, located in the parking lot next to Squatters at 147 W. 300 South. They also can walk to other nearby participating restaurants for samples.
Attendees will receive a passport for the event, which will be stamped at each restaurant. The passports are valid for both nights of the event and will be redeemable for discounts and coupons at participating restaurants throughout the summer. Instructions and a stroll area map will be included in the passport.
Tickets for food tasting from each restaurant cost $20 and an additional $10 for beer and wine samples in the tasting area. Go to Saltlakemagazine.com for details.
