SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Mountain West football fans who want to see more college games on satellite TV are being urged to dial the phone.

"It does work," said Kim Carver, general manager of The Mtn. "Those calls are recorded and reported and that feedback is noted, regardless if the person you talk to has no idea what The Mtn. is."

Comcast Corp. and CSTV offer MountanWest Sports Network, also known The Mtn., for Mountain West games. But Utah residents who don't have cable TV won't find the channel on Dish Network or DirectTV.

In June, Brigham Young and Utah said they were hiring a sports broadcasting lawyer to help get more games on television.

The issue was discussed Tuesday during a Mountain West Conference media event in Henderson, Nev. ------ Information from: Deseret Morning News, http://www.deseretnews.com
