If, like me, you grew up playing Mad Scientist by creating various frozen-drink Frankensteins with the Slurpee machine at 7-Eleven, then this news might be of interest. Starting this June, the mini-mart chain will introduce a dual-chambered Slurpee cup that keeps the two flavors of your slushy beverage separate until they converge in a special straw. The photo shown here is pretty self-explanatory. We're thinking of other beverages to which this cup/straw combo could be applied. Perhaps you could put a milkshake in one side and some soda in the other.
