LONDON, Dec 27, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- "Harry Potter" creator J.K. Rowling says she has mixed feelings about writing the final book in her series about the boy wizard and his pals.
I can't quite imagine life without Harry," she wrote on her Web site. "I contemplate the task with mingled feelings of excitement and dread, because I can't wait to get started."
Rowling said she has been busy fine-tuning the plot for the follow-up to "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," and plans to "really set to work in January," the BBC reported.
"Sometimes, even at this stage, you can see trouble looming; nearly all the six published books have had Chapters of Doom, she wrote. "The quintessential never, I hope, to be beaten Chapter That Nearly Broke My Will was chapter nine, Goblet of Fire."
The "Harry Potter" books are in the hands of more than 300 million readers worldwide.
