PROVO -- Jimmermania continues as Jimmer Fredette, the nations leading scorer, visits ESPN's "Jim Rome is Burning" and "The Scott Van Pelt Show." Speaking to Jim Rome, Fredette discussed topics such as being considered for the Player of the Year award, the songs written about him, and the people tweeting about him.

Asked about the San Diego State game and the success following, Fredette said, "I've never had a night like that where it was such a big game in the Mountain West Conference. It wasn't really a huge national televised game. Not a whole lot of people could watch, but you could tell that everyone around the country was following that game, whether it was on ESPN.com or whatever it was.

Fredette continued his conversation with Rome by talking about his mental toughness by playing against prison inmates and how he believes it translates to an NBA career.

"I expect to go in and play well," Fredette said. "I just want to go, whatever team I go to, I just want to make an impact and play well. It was just kind of the same mentality I had going into college. I just want to be a good teammate and just go out and play the best I possibly could."

No doubt there will be more to Jimmermania as the season comes to a close, especially if the BYU Cougars can go deep in the NCAA tournament.
