SALT LAKE CITY (July 3, 2007) - Utah Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations, Kevin O'Connor, announced today the schedule for the 2007 Rocky Mountain Revue presented by StoresOnline, which will be played at the Lifetime Activities Center located at the Redwood Campus of Salt Lake Community College from July 13-20.
Seven teams will participate in this year's Revue, headlined by the Utah Jazz who expects to have Ronnie Brewer and Paul Millsap on its roster, as well as 2007 first-round pick Morris Almond. Joining the Jazz this summer will be the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and the Seattle SuperSonics.
Team rosters will be comprised of rookies, second-year players and select free agents. Players expected to play in the Revue this year include 2007 first-round draft picks No. 2 overall pick Kevin Durant (SuperSonics), lottery picks Al Horford and Acie Law IV (Hawks) and two-time NCAA champion Joakim Noah (Bulls).
The opening game of the Revue will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13 with the Spurs taking on the 76ers. Jazz fans will then get their first look at Morris Almond as the Jazz host the Hawks at 7 p.m.
Games will be played Friday, July 13 through Friday, July 20; no games will be played on Sunday, July 15 or Wednesday, July 18. There will be two games a day (4:30 p.m., 7 p.m.) on July 13-14, and then three games a day (2:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7 p.m.) on the remaining scheduled days. The Jazz host the Bulls in the final game on Friday, July 20 at 7 p.m. (See attached for the complete schedule).
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, with a special $8 ticket price available for Salt Lake Community College students and faculty (must show valid SLCC I.D.). Advance tickets are now on sale at all Ticketmaster locations including the EnergySolutions Arena box office, ticketmaster.com, and by calling (801) 325-SEAT. Day of game tickets are only available at the Lifetime Activities Center box office.
