Today, the KSL Editorial Board makes a blatant pitch for your donation to one of the community’s most enduring charities – KSL’s Quarters for Christmas.

We do it because we know first hand the good this charity accomplishes.

For 40 years, now, KSL has been a conduit through which you, our viewers and listeners, donate your spare change toward the purchase of quality footwear and other selected supplies for thousands of needy Utah school children. And for four decades you’ve responded generously.

It is always gratifying when school groups and community organizations show up at KSL with jars filled with change. And when individuals and families send a check or stop by with a handful of quarters.

We hope you’ll continue the tradition.

Remember, every penny received goes directly to buy new shoes for children through the Utah Division of Child and Family Services, and other children’s supplies through the Crossroads Urban Center. These two groups, along with KSL, cover all administrative costs, so you can be assured your donation will be used wisely for the kids.

So, yes, the KSL Editorial Board is transparent in its praise for KSL’s Quarters for Christmas. Your donations will be gratefully accepted through the end of the year.
