INVERNESS - After signing up for a contest for a special holiday giveaway on ABC's The View, Christmas came early for Donna Stevens.
At the beginning of Thursday's show, moderator Meredith Vieira selected the Inverness resident's name as part of the annual 12 Days of Christmas promotion. At the end of the show, a representative from Toshiba announced that Stevens and the entire studio audience would receive a Toshiba Gigabeat MP3 player, valued at about $250. Karl Nilsson, the show's publicist, said that Stevens was notified about the win in a phone call after The View ended Thursday.
