NEW YORK, Dec 16, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- CNN Headline News anchor Nancy Grace says she was unaware a lawsuit filed in New York on her behalf seeks money from her alleged homeless stalker.
A rep for Grace told the New York Post she has dropped the part of the suit that seeks monetary damages from Joseph Loegering, who is currently in the psychiatric unit of a New York hospital.
Grace said the punitive damage request was contained -- without her knowlege -- in her request for a restraining order to keep Loegering away from her.
"I have never approved seeking money from Mr. Loegering and I appreciate the media bringing it to my attention," she said.
