This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
She brings more than 20 years of floral design experience to the table. Her one-of-a-kind arrangements include beautiful flowers, berries and Utah's natural foliage. She was one of the first to use these materials. She also uses a variety of moss and, in some cases, fruit. In fact, at one party she was surprised to see the guests had actually eaten the fruit out of the arrangement.
It all started when she was a teenager working at a florist shop part time. After awhile she couldn't help but notice how customers were buying plain and average floral arrangements. She thought, "I could do this."
So, 15 years ago, she opened Roots at 324 S. 400 West in Salt Lake City. When finding the best pricing and unusual home accessories, Rachel will go the distance for her customers. She won't invest in elaborate containers because she would rather pass the investment on to one of her beautiful flowers. However, her team still creates some special containers like handmade boxes that they stain. She will also buy directly from the growers to eliminate any middleman price increase.
Rachael and her designers also have the talent to do anything from backyard weddings to major events. Once they did a wedding that required over 200,000 flowers and took almost a year to plan.
They also provided flowers for the 2007 Super Bowl held in Miami. A lot of the flowers come from Florida anyway so Rachael was able to get her flowers there, set up shop and do a knockout job. In case you couldn't tell, corporate functions are not a problem for this multi-talented team.
You should really stop by to see this specialty boutique store on 400 West in Salt Lake City to understand the sense of style Roots brings to the table.
For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
