LOGAN -- Utah State Head Coach Gary Andersen announced Wednesday that junior linebacker Junior Keiaho has been dismissed from the team for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
"I feel that it is in the best interest of this program and for Junior Keiaho that he no longer be a part of this team," Andersen said. "We wish him the best in the future and we are fully supportive of him in his life outside of football."
Andersen did not provide anymore information.
Keiaho, a 6-3, 243-pound linebacker from Logan (Logan HS), posted 20 tackles in eight games while battling a knee injury throughout the season. He recorded 1.5 tackles for loss, including one sack, along with three pass break-ups and one interception.
