This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

One of the classics in the skiing industry is Sun Valley Ski Resort in Idaho. Known as America's first destination ski resort, they're most known for having one of the best teaching mountains in the world, Dollar Mountain, as well as the challenging terrain of the 3,400 vertical foot Bald Mountain.

Just last year Sun Valley debuted the Roundhouse Gondola that delivers guests to the classic Roundhouse Restaurant in just eight minutes. This year the resort is celebrating their 75th season, which kicks off December 21.

With a name like Sun Valley it makes perfect sense that this resort is also known for their sunny weather. Where else can you enjoy perfectly groomed slopes and bright sunshine 8 out of 10 days?

Robert Earl Holding, a native Utahn, owns both Sun Valley Ski Resort and Snowbasin in Utah. This year Forbes magazine listed him in the top 100 Richest Americans.

I'm guessing you probably know Snowbasin in Huntsville, Utah best as the venue for the men's and women's downhill and combined ski races in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. They're ranked high nationally for their lifts, including two high-speed gondolas, three luxury mountain day lodges with gourmet food and value pricing. They also consistently receive compliments on their friendly and helpful employees

I went to Snowbasin for the first time last year, and I had to wonder, "What took me so long?" From the fantastic runs to the charming village, I was so impressed. I clearly understood the reasons for their Olympic involvement.

Snowbasin has supplemented their snowmaking capacity this year and plans to increase their half pipe for the Dew Tour national championship.

Want to win a 4-pack of lift tickets to one of 12 ski resorts in Utah or Idaho? Head over to the Zions Bank page on Facebook to find out how.
