The onslaught of honors continues unabated for BYU point guard Jimmer Fredette, named today as one of five players on The Associated Press preseason men's basketball All-America team.

Fredette has already been named a preseason First Team All-American by The Sporting News, Dick Vitale, Athlon, and Blue Ribbon Yearbook. He was named the nation's top point guard by Lindy's, and has been nominated for the Cousy Award, given annually to the country's top point guard.
Jimmer is the Mountain West Conference Preseason Player of the Year, and may end up as the first player in conference history to be a three-time postseason all-league First Team selection.

Four weeks from tonight, KSL Radio will air the first weekly broadcast of "BYU Basketball with Head Coach Dave Rose." The show will originate live on Monday nights from 7:00-8:00pm at Legends Grille in the Student-Athlete Building on the BYU campus.
Admission will be free, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The good folks from BYU Dining and Legends Grille will have weekly food specials during the one-hour show; students and fans are encouraged to pack the building each week to enjoy some tasty fare, hang out in a warm, friendly environment, and hear from Coach Rose, along with players and coaches.
I'll be hosting the show, which will include live questions from the show audience, as well as questions submitted online. Look for a question submission link on the soon-to-be-launched show page in the BYU Sports Menu.
The broadcast will air every Monday night from November 29th through March 7th, with the following exceptions:
The December 6th show has been moved to Thursday, December 9th.
The December 20th show has been moved to Wednesday, December 22nd.

The KSL 5 TV version of "BYU Basketball with Head Coach Dave Rose" will debut Sunday, December 5th at 11:00pm, and air every Sunday night at 11 through March 6th.
I'll host the weekly show, which will feature Coach Rose joining me in studio for game reviews and previews, features on players and coaches, plus an "X's and O's" segment, during which Coach Rose will teach us all some of the finer points of his offensive and defensive systems, and the game of basketball in general.
