SHARON STONE showed off her skills as an auctioneer again yesterday (17NOV05) after helping to raise $200,000 (£111,100) at the third annual Lupus Luncheon in Beverly Hills.

After raising cash by offering a fan the chance to reclasp her designer dress at an Aids charity auction a month ago (OCT05) and selling off jewellery for a good cause on US TV chat show ELLEN, the actress considered stripping to increase bids on a gift bag item yesterday.

Stone added the red Versace crocodile-skin shoes she was wearing at the event as an added incentive, prompting socialite KATHY HILTON to throw in a necklace gift her daughters PARIS and NICKY had bought her.

The actress further stirred up the auction when she offered to take off the black leather trousers she was wearing and add them to the lot, but she didn't have to strip on stage - the gift bag, featuring her shoes and Hilton's necklace, went under the hammer for $5,000 (£2,780). (KL/WN/IG)
