NEW YORK, Nov 18, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Pop star Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to make her Broadway debut in the revival of "Sweet Charity."
A source told TV's "The Insider" the producers are so anxious to sign Spears to the role of Charity, they have offered to hire her husband, dancer Kevin Federline, as well.
"The producers really want Britney and will do anything to make this happen," the source said.
"The Insider" said the Spears camp has refused to comment.
